Ingredients:1 cup whole milk
2 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp QUeen Milling Gluten Free All Purpose Flour Blend
Salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste.
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Once butter is melted add flour whisking until smooth for about 1- 2 minutes. While whisking, slowly pour milk into the pan and continue whisking until incorporated. Continue whisking and cooking for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and season.
If the sauce feels too thick you can add more milk.
The sauce will continue to thicken off of heat.
You can store in refrigerator for 2-3 days. Press plastic film against the mixture to prevent skin forming.
